I believe that massage therapy is a very effective way to treat muscular pain and should be considered a treatment, not a luxury.  Over the past seven years, I have treated a variety of conditions including frozen shoulder, sciatica, TMJ disorder, migraines, tennis elbow, plantar fasciitis, and pain associated with trigger points.  I have recently taken neuromuscular technique training on how to alleviate pain associated with TMJ disorder, rotator cuff and forearm pain and specialize in this treatment. It is my passion to help individuals alleviate pain.   I am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.  Before attending school for massage I attended and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.

My career as a massage therapist in Nebraska began in May of 2011 when I graduated from the Universal College of Healing Arts in Omaha. Since then, my practice has evolved to include focused studies such as: therapeutic massage, gua sha, myofascial release, and Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy. I've also received additional training for cupping and gua-sha, and really enjoy using these tools in my work. Most recently, however, I have done some studying in Body Art Therapy and I'm looking forward to continuing to use the skills that I've developed in ten years as a natural henna artist more frequently with my clients to help them bring awareness and healing to their own bodies.

I graduated massage school from the Myotherapy Institute in August of 2017. I have worked for Empowered Healing since December of 2017. Soon after graduation, I took training in Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy and enjoy working with my feet as well as my hands. I offer deep tissue, therapeutic massage, hot stone massage, and ashiatsu. I have a passion for learning and am very eager to continue to learn more and expand my knowledge and skills of massage in the years to come. I am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.

I graduated from Myotherapy Institute of August of 2017. After working in the Higher Education field for 3 years and then being a stay at home mom for 2 years; I decided it was time to think about what I wanted my career to be. I have always had a love for massage and decided to go for it. I enjoy making people feel better and love what massage can do for the body and mind. I am trained in Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, spa treatments and Ashiatsu Oriental Bar Therapy. I believe there is not much in this world a great massage and a baked good cannot solve.

I earned my massage therapy license in June of 2017 after attending Myotherapy Institute of Massage. I am certified in Therapeutic, Deep Tissue, Hot Stone, and Pregnancy Massage. The art of healing through touch has brought forth an amazing purpose to my life. You can also find me working at Lavaré Skin Care. I use Lavaré products in my treatment room, and absolutely love the all-natural handmade products.  I am a lover of animals, food, music, and cacti. I spend my free time caring for my animals and my plants. I also spend a lot of time with family and friends laughing and creating memories. Whether it’s hanging out at home, attending a concert, or traveling the country, I enjoy having new experiences and meeting new people.
