I have been a client at Empowered Healing for several years and I have had the pleasure of watching the business unfold and watch the journey of creating a meaningful space for individuals to experience a variety of therapies.  The Empowered Healing team has worked diligently and passionately to provide holistic approaches for a person’s well-being. From the moment you walk in the door, there is a feeling of tranquility and peacefulness.  I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to now be a part of this team, doing some of the behind the scenes work of scheduling appointments and explaining the specialized services that are provided by each Therapist.

I recently retired from a long and wonderful career of marketing and sales in senior housing as well as providing social services and hospice education to individuals and families.  I graduated from Doane College with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Relations and completed the coursework for the Master of Arts in the Counseling Program at Doane.  I believe I have a purpose that God has given me, and I desire to follow that by serving, educating, problem solving, and providing a listening ear and a caring heart.  I am so fortunate to have this time to enjoy life digging in the dirt, hanging out with my dog, spending time with my son, and my husband.  I am looking forward to this part of my journey in life continuing to learn, teach, and love and to love and embrace where I am today.
